During the 3 monthly service at Apparel Masters in Hamilton, a professional laundry and commercial dry cleaner, our technician found that the burner was running inefficiently with the components worn due to age. The control panel parts were brittle and the cabling needed upgrading for both efficiency and safety. Our Senior Service Technician advised the customer to upgrade the burner and control panel to extend the longevity of the boiler.
A new control panel with all new components were installed with new cabling from the control panel to the boiler. The newly installed C.I.B Unigas fully modulating E205A natural gas burner is a reliable and economical burner that is widely used in New Zealand. The high-performance combustion head is designed to achieve maximum efficiency when working on natural gas.
The upgrade and annual survey were completed over a weekend to minimise operational disruption for the customer. Apparel Masters in Hamilton shut down on Friday afternoon and steam was provided by Monday morning.
